Hello Mavens!! I was so excited to get my Julep for December 2016 because of the goodies that were inside (remember, Julep lets you pick and choose your monthly selections so you are always satisfied)!

Ok, so on to my December goodies! For this month I received extra goodies because I took advantage of a special they had where you got a free gift if you purchased 3 add-ons for a discounted price. For my monthly Julep selections I got the Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum Pen, the Its Whipped Matte Lip Mousse and the nail polish Lizzy- a Cappuccino Creme color. I am totally crazy with Julep's stardust finish nail polishes so for my add-ons all three were in this stardust finish. The colors are: Corinne (an off white color), Lydia (a pewter color) and Omelia (a sugarplum color). My surprise gift for this order was Jacqueline - a bright grenadine colored polish in a shimmer finish.

As I had said before, I am crazy with the stardust finishes (which is why I got three lol). I tried and absolutely loved the cappuccino creme polish, the nail polish really is creamy and a little goes a long way with this one. You don't have to keep re-applying like with some other polishes.

Its Whipped Matte Lip Mousse in Say Hello (a Rich Marsala Color)

The Whipped Matte Lip Mousse was really nice. It is a matte finish but it did not dry out my lips at all the way matte lipsticks tend to do. I really need to get into the applicator though - LOOOVVEE IT! The shape is kind of like rounded - not elongated or slanted like others I have. The application is so nice - the only thing I would have liked different, would have been for it to have a more lasting formulation. When it dries - it does dry to a creamy matte but it will come off more easily than others I have.

Julep Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum

I am super happy with my Julep December 2016 elections - the nail polish formulations are wonderful, the colors and finishes are not your regular drugstore finds - love how the lip mousse looks so nice and nude on my olive complexion, that have been able to wear daily with very simple makeup. I usually get the little skin peeling on the side of my nails (so painful and annoying), and since I have been using this cuticle serum I have go nothing! Not kidding lol!!
